Our tailor-made program

INTEGRATION IS CUSTOMIZED

Integration is tailoring. Whether it regards finding work, retraining or questions with respect to health and wellbeing. Therefore, we adjust our integration program completely to the needs of the status holder. Our program exists of a fixed number of logical steps. Each step is tailored to the unique need of the status holder. This is not only a successful, but also very efficient approach. Consequently, an integration process with us takes on average only two years.

DE ROUTE NAAR SUCCES

step0

#1

Nederlandse Taal

step1

Language

Leren en kunnen communiceren met anderen

A good language proficiency and good communication skills – verbal and in writing – are absolute conditions to find your way in the society. Language connects. Being proficient in it opens doors towards work, social contacts etcetera.

#2

Woonplek

step2

Housing

Living somewhere means much more than a roof over your head. It means becoming a familiar face in the neighbourhood and being an integral part of the local community.

#3

Welzijn

step3

Begeleiding in diverse leefgebieden, waaronder zorg en maatschappelijke ondersteuning

Health, both physically and mentally, is a condition to be able to function properly in the society. Therefore, we guide newcomers through the health care system and they can count on social support if necessary.

#4

Sociaal contact

step4

Social contacts

Conversaties met anderen voeren en vrienden maken

From having a conversation in the supermarket to visiting friends or acquaintances: social contacts are very important for the mental health and have of course also practical use.

#5

Werk

step5

WORK

Work and the income from it is of course important to be able to make a living. But also for the social status, contacts with colleagues and self-development. Therefore, we strive to help newcomers to have an internship (learning-working path), paid job or volunteer work as soon as possible. Independent entrepreneurship is a possibility that we consider seriously.

#6

(Bij)scholing

step6

(Re)training

Often, a newcomer was a craftsman or expert in his field in the country of origin. We consider (further) training possibilities to increase someone’s chances on the labour market.

#7

Culturele bijdrag

step7

Cultural enrichment

Status holders have a lot to offer to the local culture. From exotic customs and practices to their cooking skills and knowledge over the country of origin. Therefore, we stimulate that newcomers enrich the local culture from their own cultural background.

#8

Maatschappij

step8

Social contribution

Everybody should actively participate in the society. That means going to school, working, volunteering or provide (informal) care. This is good for the society as a whole, but also for the individual.

#9

Ons doel: zelfredzaamheid

step9

Self-sufficiency

The final goal of our integration programs is self-sufficiency: being able to independently manage in all areas of life, with possible support and care from the own environment. If someone cannot make it on their own for a bit, we provide an element of after care. For example, by bringing in professional help.
